Absolute Heaven for my 16 year old child who is a crochet nerd! Loved the cappuccino and banoffe cake! Ham macaroni and ice cream milkshake for the kid was wonderful as well!
Bigknit Cafe is definitely outside my usual review territory. :) I found it because my 10-year-old daughter is seriously into knitting and asked me to bring something interesting from Thailand of this thematics What you’ll find here: 🧶 A very large selection of yarn, tools and knitting/crochet accessories. 🧶A café where you can have coffee, food or something sweet. 🧶Tables where people actually sit and work on their knitting and crochet projects. 🧶A relaxed, friendly atmosphere — clearly a real little community around the hobby. I was probably one of the few men there and definitely not the expert in the room. :) But the mission was successfully completed: I put together a nice set for my daughter, finished with an espresso, and enjoyed the atmosphere for a while. Very nice and unusual concept — especially if knitting or crochet is your thing.🇹🇭🇹🇭
I visited as a tourist from Japan. I only bought yarn and didn't use the cafe. There were many items that I could probably buy in Japan, but I felt bad leaving the shop empty-handed, so I bought some. It was a bit pricey. When I checked the stock of bamboo knitting needles, it was in Japanese, so I think I could buy them at Yuzawaya. The atmosphere was so gloomy that I didn't feel like using the cafe (maybe they were hesitant to talk to me because I was Japanese?). It's far from the tourist area, so I took a taxi there, but on the way back I had to walk to the main shopping area, which would be tough during hot weather. Also, there's nothing to see or do in the surrounding area. It's a shop for locals.
As a crocheter, this place is highly recommended. You can find plenty of yarn here with nice foods and drink in the perfect atmosphere 💕
