Happening Shop is a Thai art shop in Bangkok, . The shop handpicks work from emerging Thai artists, designers, and musicians including artist-designed t-shirts, handmade notebooks, vinyl records and CDs from major and indie labels, handmade leatherware, jewellery, postcards, home décor, and products from creative studios across Thailand, Chiang Mai, Nepal, and Japan. A curated book corner stocks independent titles, publishers’ releases, and back issues of happening magazine. Occasional events — book launches, workshops, press conferences, and film screenings — make it a meeting point for Bangkok’s creative community as much as a retail destination. Every item is personally selected by the happening team through sight, touch, and feel.
The BACC branch is on the 3rd floor of the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre on Rama 1 Road, connected directly to National Stadium BTS. Open Tuesday–Sunday 10am–8pm.

2 weeks agoHappening Shop is located at the BACC Lv. 3 (interconnected to entrance upon BTS walkway from National Stadium). Many lovely hand crafts souvenirs and cute stationary (supporting Thai Local Artist). From postcards, tote bags, hats, sunnies or even 2nd hand CD's, you named it, Happening Shop have them here. Lovely staff. Please note that debit/credit can only be accept if the purchase accumulated total of 500 baht and/or beyond. Shout out to the two lovely counter ladies which are both very friendly and smiling.

a month agoHappening Shop is a stylish general store located inside the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. It's conveniently located directly connected to National Stadium Station. I particularly loved the keychains, which are modern art-style adaptations of Thai amulets ("Phra Khruang"). The blend of Thai culture and design is simply irresistible…🪬🎨
