The Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles is a textile museum in Bangkok, in the Ratsadakorn-bhibhathana Building — an Italianate structure built in 1870 by King Rama V, formerly the Ministry of Finance. The museum was established in 2003 at the request of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, following a comprehensive renovation that created a state-of-the-art facility with galleries, education studio, library, lecture hall, and Thailand’s first dedicated textile conservation laboratory.
Collections focus on Thai royal court textiles, historic silk, and ceremonial fabrics. The current long-term exhibition, Royal Court Textiles of Siam, runs through April 2027. Open daily 09:00–16:30, last admission 15:30.

a week agoThe Queen Mother's Textile Museum Free admission for Thai citizens with valid ID. Dress respectfully. There are designated areas for photography (where photography is allowed and prohibited). Staff are available at all points of service. Displays garments formerly worn by Her Majesty the Queen Mother. It was a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to visit this museum. After the visit, stop by for some ice cream! It's delicious and refreshing. Very impressed. The museum is located within the Grand Palace complex. Many Thai people should come and visit!
