Crusio Bangkok is an art café in Phra Khanong tucked down a quiet soi off Sukhumvit 50 in the On Nut area — known for its orange walls, blue door, and cozy atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you arrive at for brunch and leave several hours later.

The Café
Crusio’s menu centres on sandwiches and toast, with the Crusio Toast as the signature item — thick-cut butter bread dipped in egg and pan-fried, served with a choice of toppings including banana and egg, or bacon and cheese. The kitchen keeps things simple and well-executed, with a focus on brunch fare that suits a slow morning or a mid-afternoon break.

The Art Room
The second floor is a bookable drawing studio where guests can sit and create freely, with no agenda and no instruction. Crusio frames it as self-therapy: a personal creative space for solo sessions or for two. No experience is needed. Bookings are available via Instagram DM or by phone.

Ikebana Workshops
Crusio hosts Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) workshops as a regular community activity, open to participants of all levels. Sessions are announced via their Instagram page.

High-end café in an unfortunate cul-de-sac location. The place doubles as an art studio and has a South American vibe. (July 2026)

I had a really beautiful experience at this café. The welcome was warm, the staff were very kind, the coffee was excellent, and the breakfast was very enjoyable. The place has a calm, friendly, and welcoming energy. I also really loved the presence of a very playful and adorable cat, which made the experience even more special. One practical tip for visitors: if you are coming on foot, I strongly recommend passing under the viaduct and avoiding the street that leads directly to the café. In my case, there was a group of dogs in that street that were quite aggressive. I was able to keep them away, but I prefer to mention it to help future visitors avoid the same situation. This is not related to the café itself, only to the access around the area. If you are not sure about the best way to get there, I recommend contacting the café before arriving to ask for directions or assistance. Apart from this small access tip, I truly loved my experience and highly recommend this place. Great welcome, excellent coffee, good breakfast, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
