Baan Chao Phraya Art Gallery is a heritage gallery in Bangkok, set inside a restored royal residence on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, on Phra Athit Road in Phra Nakhon. The building carries a layered history — it served as a royal residence, a home for Italian architect Mario Tamagno (designer of the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall and Hua Lamphong Railway Station), a guesthouse for foreign dignitaries, and later the Provincial Police headquarters before falling into disuse.
PTT Group funded the full restoration and now operates the space as an art and learning venue. Exhibitions feature winning entries from the PTT Art Competition alongside rotating shows by established and emerging Thai artists.
The gallery also houses Café Amazon for Chance, a social enterprise café where hearing-impaired baristas work as part of an inclusive employment programme.
Accessible by Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Phra Arthit pier, and a short walk from Santi Chai Prakan Park and Phra Sumen Fort. Open Wednesday–Monday, 10:00–18:00 (closed Tuesdays and public holidays).

A lovely little museum. Most of the works are at school level, but there are also a few interesting paintings. I was just passing by; you can spend 20 minutes there. There are only two floors, and admission is free. I liked the painting of an old woman surrounded by memories and her life experiences, from war to peace and the new generation.
Just likes a museum of modern act New York city so pretty well
