KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theatre is a performing arts venue Bangkok’s cultural life has centred on since its founding in Siam Square. The name weaves together three references: Siam, for the square at its heart; Pic, from the royal youthful name of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), founder of Chulalongkorn University; and Ganesha, the deity of all arts — revered across dance, music, and performance of every kind. The theatre was established to bring Thai performing arts to international audiences and to deepen appreciation of the arts among Thais.
The centre comprises three performance spaces. The Theatre seats 1,069 and hosts the full range of productions — concerts, Khon (traditional Thai masked dance drama), ballet, theatre, talk shows, and large-scale cultural events. The Playhouse offers 200 seats for more intimate stage performances and seminars. The Studio provides 84 square metres of rehearsal and smaller-scale performance space.
Designed with creativity embedded into every architectural detail, the venue sits in the heart of Siam Square — Bangkok’s crossroads of art, fashion, and lifestyle — directly connected to BTS and public transport. For programme and bookings, visit website or follow @siampichall.
