Baking Soda Arthouse & Studio is an art school in Bangkok, on Phaya Thai Road in the Asia Building, directly connected to BTS Ratchathewi. Open for over 15 years, the school specialises in university entrance exam preparation and portfolio creation across a wide range of disciplines.
Core programmes cover architecture entrance exam preparation (TPAT4/CU-TAD/PAT4), portfolio courses for Chulalongkorn’s Communication Design (CommDe) and International Programme in Design and Architecture (INDA), drawing (Drawing decorative art lines), interior design, graphic and visual communication design, fashion design, product design, applied arts, and jewellery design. General watercolour and acrylic painting courses are available for adults, alongside dedicated art classes for children.
All courses run from beginner to advanced level with no prior experience required. Classes are kept deliberately small to ensure individual instructor attention. The school has a consistent track record of students gaining admission to Chulalongkorn University, Silpakorn University, KMUTT, Thammasat University, and Srinakharinwirot University. Instructors hold degrees from Silpakorn and Chulalongkorn universities; the school was also selected to create the official TPAT4 architecture aptitude exam for Dek-D, Thailand’s largest central examination platform.
