PP&P Music School Thung Khru is a music and performing arts academy established in 2007 by Kunanon Phiromporn (Teacher Pum) at its Prachauthit Road location in Thung Khru, Bangkok. Since founding, the academy has grown to cover piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, wind and brass instruments, guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, singing, ballet, contemporary dance, Thai classical dance, Thai classical masked ballet (Khon), traditional Thai music, and visual art — making it one of the most comprehensive performing arts schools in Bangkok’s southern districts.
The academy is an official Trinity College London examination centre, and students perform regularly at venues including the Goethe Institute, Alliance Française, Chulalongkorn University Music Hall, the National Theatre, and the Thailand Cultural Centre, with a consistent focus on Thai arts and culture. Ensemble programs include a traditional Thai music band, orchestra, Thai classical masked ballet, and string band projects.
PP&P has a strong community mission alongside its curriculum. Since 2009 the academy has offered free tutoring at local community schools, and from 2013 to 2016 ran free Thai music and dance education through the “Doing Good for Our Father” project. In 2016, PP&P launched an ASEAN Youth Music and Dance Cultural Exchange Program connecting Thai students with peers across the region. The academy also runs the “PP&P Kind-Hearted Helpers” project, supporting underprivileged border-area schools with funding, classroom construction, and learning materials.
PP&P operates two branches in Thung Khru — the main campus on Prachauthit Road and a second branch on Phutthabucha Road.
