The Thailand Creative & Design Centre (TCDC) is a creative coworking in Bangkok, space in the historic Central Post Office building on Charoen Krung Road — a 9,000 sqm space designed by award-winning firm Department of Architecture and open at this location since May 2017. A public organisation under the Creative Economy Agency, TCDC serves as both a learning resource and an incubator for Bangkok’s creative economy.
The fourth floor is dedicated entirely to the TCDC Resource Center, one of Asia’s largest design and creativity libraries with over 70,000 resources — including 18,000+ art and design books in English and Thai — alongside a materials library with physical design samples from around the world. The fifth floor houses the Creative Space: a coworking area and business centre with staff on hand to advise on the creative industry, crowdfunding, and business connections.
Also on site is the Maker Space, FabCafe Bangkok FabCafe Bangkok where visitors can prototype ideas using 3D printers, CNC routers, laser cutters, and prototyping machines. Additional facilities include exhibition space, auditoriums, workshop rooms, meeting rooms, a silent study room, and a design shop.
The building is topped by a free-entry rooftop garden designed by landscape architecture firm Shma. Membership gives access to borrowing privileges and coworking space. Group visits available for organisations and schools.
Members also have access to professional online databases including WGSN trend forecasting, Euromonitor GMID, and Stash Media, as well as seasonal trend books. A reserve and delivery service is available for members who can’t visit in person. Open Tuesday–Sunday 10:30–19:00, closed Mondays. Visit Library Website.
