The Corner House Bangkok is a heritage event space in Samphanthawong — housed in one of Bangkok’s oldest buildings, the 113-year-old Chai Phatthanasilp structure on the corner of Charoen Krung 35 in Talat Noi. Now thoughtfully restored, it operates as a multifunctional creative hub: part event venue, part exhibition space, part community platform, and part dining and social destination.

History & Heritage
Built over a century ago, the building at 951 Charoen Krung Road carries the layered history of Bangkok’s oldest district. The restoration preserved the architectural character — high ceilings, warm textures, vintage accents — while adding the infrastructure needed for modern events and gatherings. The result is a space that feels genuinely historical without feeling stuck in the past.

Event Spaces
The Corner House offers two main hirable venues. The Heritage Loft (Studio No.2) occupies the second floor: an open-plan space of 210 square metres with high ceilings and period finishes, accommodating up to 250 guests. On the fourth floor, The Pavilion combines a 200 sq.m. glass-roofed indoor hall with a 200 sq.m. open-air rooftop terrace overlooking old town Bangkok, with a combined capacity of up to 350 guests. Both spaces suit events, exhibitions, workshops, product launches, and private gatherings. The team can support full event production including layout, lighting, and logistics.

Such A Small World
Resident concept “Such A Small World” occupies a key portion of the building, offering a vinyl library, gaming zone, café, and food and beverage service. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00, it provides a daytime and evening hangout for the creative community.

Liana
Fine dining restaurant Liana operates within The Corner House, open Wednesday to Sunday from 17:30 to 21:00. The concept — by husband-and-wife team Warat Areerom and Soohyun Lee — combines modern European cuisine with Thai produce and techniques drawn from Michelin-starred kitchens in London. The menu changes seasonally.

Co-Playing Space
The Corner House also houses one of Bangkok’s first co-playing spaces — a social venue where guests can enjoy film, music, gaming, sports, art, and café culture together. It’s designed as a community destination rather than a traditional entertainment venue, with a creative atmosphere that encourages spontaneous connection.
