Tucked into a small wooden house on Krung Thonburi Road, The Green Craft House is the craft café Khlong San creatives return to again and again — a quiet, cat-filled escape where you can paint glass bottles, sketch, string beads, or simply sink into a comic book between sips of coffee.
The creative activities here are drop-in and beginner-friendly. Pick up a set of art supplies from the counter — drawing materials, colouring sheets, glass bottles ready for painting, or beading kits — and settle in at your own pace. There are no classes or timetables, just open-ended making at whatever speed feels right.
When you need a break from creating, the shelves of comics and manga are free to browse, and a small board game collection and PS4 setup round out the options for a laid-back afternoon. The resident cats — a friendly colony of black cats — wander freely and are very much part of the atmosphere.
The café side is simple but decent: waffles, chicken pesto spaghetti, cakes, and a full drinks menu, with most items landing between 100 and 250 baht. The menu won’t distract you from the making — which is exactly the point.
Getting There
The Green Craft House is at 58 Krung Thonburi Road in Khlong San, a short walk from BTS Wongwian Yai (Exit 3, approximately 400 metres). There is no on-site parking; the nearest option is Sinsathorn Building.

a week agoThe cats are so cute and chubby! The food is delicious. I really like that there are games to play and comic books to read. You can draw too. It could be another great place to relax and chill out in Bangkok.
