Jim Thompson Art Center (JTAC) is a Bangkok contemporary art Bangkok organisation founded in 2003 by the James H.W. Thompson Foundation, relocated to an expanded new home on Rama 1 Road in late 2021. The centre fosters contemporary art with an inclusive, multi-functional approach — addressing critical issues in the local Bangkok context while collaborating with regional and international cultural institutions. The centre houses the William Warren Library, an art and culture reference library named after the author and Chulalongkorn University lecturer who chronicled Jim Thompson’s life. Holdings include books by William Warren, Jim Thompson Foundation publications, exhibition catalogues, and reference materials on Thai culture, architecture, textiles, and crafts. Free access is open to all visitors; annual membership (1,500 THB general, 600 THB students) allows borrowing of up to three items at a time.

The library also has a mini-exhibition space and free Wi-Fi. Located 400 metres from BTS National Stadium Station (Exit 1) and a three-minute walk from Hua Chang Bridge pier.
